Mr Clayton
Hey guys recently tried out a high bb bike, and wasnt too keen on it for some reason felt like everything i tried i was going to go over bars! i use a viz forged stem so its quitre high! Just wondering if any of you know what the lynx is like to ride? as its back to the old sort of geo frames of +55 bb etc........ Wanting it for both types of riding narural and street! so just curios to know what they ride like? Thanks Ross
Mark W
I've got a long one, and I've also got a long Lynx. But yeah, they're really nice frames. I prefer the slightly longer back end and slightly lower BB feel, so it works for me. Just feels like you can really preload into stuff without it just looping out from under you like most frames with under 360mm stays and over +60mm BB heights do. I guess it's something you could get used to, but I don't really want to have to completely change how I ride for no actual benefit. In any case, I like how mine rides. I ride it on street and natural, but prefer it on natural. Seems to roll almost like a stock over some stuff, but is still flicky like a mod should be. Oh great thanks so to me it sounds like it sort of rides like the older pythongs!! dont know why but this idea of high bb is not my cup of tea i find it hard to pull up on front end! Also with my maladie it's 71.5 Headangle on the majority of frames its 72! soo this may also be the problem thanks for your help Mark!!!!!!! Ross I read that, and chucked to myself... I then read that, and fell in love with you! HAHA dirty minded

Ross It's not quite as mini-stock as the old CLS Pythons with the 375mm rear end, but to be honest, I kinda prefer it that way. Still keeps it reasonably lively and has a nice feel to it, whereas the old CLS Pythons always felt kinda dead and lifeless.
medwaytrials
I recently got one and all I can say is that they're perfect. I'v ridden the short stays and low bb's and find I cant pull the power on them. I rode a czar before and i'd say this is pretty similar but its alot lighter and flickier.
