6ft-midget
Paint I did have an armordillo but i soon took it off cos it was ugly and i dont really mind if i dented the downtube. The armordilllo done its job well but it weren't really my thing.

connor 111
Yep, right diameter plastic pipe, cut to shape, lined with rubber , few stickers held on with strong ty-wraps, works a treat. .
aidanb93
I don't really see the point in trying to keep it undented and unscratched at the end of the day its a trials bike it dosnt need to look pritty. Just use it and have fun dont worry about damaging it.
monty-james
I use an armordillo, my frame is a bit fat for it so i tie it down with cable ties. Yeah it looks ugly but my frame is in good condition because of it. Ive heard that they stopped making armordillo's though.
sstein
I use a piece of tyre and half a number plate seen here it may not look great, but it works well and cost me nothing.
Ed Roberts
Carbon fibre sheet would be good for protecting the down tube.
davey1991
Carbon fibre sheet would be good for protecting the down tube. Until you landed on it, and it split giving you carbon splinters in your tyres etc... The tyre on the downtube seems quite popular. To the above, yes they have stopped makin armordillos

Jake Beach
Nothing, seems pointless imo, I've dented and scratched my frame but dont really care.
