Mark W
Hammering cranks off f**king sucks. I'd just like to throw that out there as a 'crank hammer off-er veteran'...

Leistonbmx
This probably isn't ideal. But I have one you can use if you pay postage both ways.
LEON
Take the bolts out & go for a little ride around? When one falls off the other one will be on the way, just don't hammer.
Mark W
Take the bolts out & go for a little ride around? When one falls off the other one will be on the way, just don't hammer. I thought that'd work with my Onza cranks when I stripped the threads for the extractor, but they ended up being angle-ground off. Chances are your drive-side crank won't give a shit about coming off if the chain's still on.
Ash-Kennard
well i got a brand new drive side burn cos i snapped my old one, and a new tnn cog+bash and i wanna fit it, but cant. and the crank being new is a tight b*****d

Unless your right footed and you kick to gap, and your crank comes off that way, this happened to me, but my bolt was still in, nice bolt and bb threads :$ Edited February 25, 2010 by AlexxRogers
quick_spider
I 'converted' my standard tool into an ISIS tool by putting a 5p on the end. It's now curled around the edge of the tool so it stays on there.
Lawnmowerman
Haha I used to do the same!
Skoze
I did that once, I just ended up with a bent coin lodged in my bb axle.

Mat Smith!!
take the bolts off and just go for a ride like you would normally, it will feel noticably wobbly before it falls off, or you can just twat it with a rubber mallet lol, wd40 helps aswell.. Revolver
I did that once, I just ended up with a bent coin lodged in my bb axle. I did it with a 5p, and two pennies. I then found a bolt that was the perfect fit and it works. But now I have a proper tool.
