nickdonboy
I can already 'frenchie' but lacking the confidence at the moment. Just wondering what different techniques people use? I know some people that use their front brake etc... Steve Winder preforms some of the best swaps/frenchies I've seen. Ben John-Hynes
Steve Winder Why the f**k have I not heard of him!? One of my new favourite mod riders... A frenchie isn't a frenchie when you use your front brake. It's just an up/gap to front/wheel swap.
willis-gu
Yeah winder is awsome at them, first person i seen doing them, dont think he rides much now. When i do them i aim to bash my front wheel onto the rail so you get more pop out of it and it pops you too your back wheel! I have a few 'frenchies' in my new vid soon

Greetings
Never really got the hang of doing it completely brakeless but one thing to remember is that you can't loose your momentum. It's essentially one movement from the moment you jump up to landing on the rear wheel. When it comes to frenchies though, that rider in the first post has nothing on this guy: http://www.vimeo.com/3526642 edit: seems like the bb code isn't working properly yet... Was chatting to Joe Seddon about this on Dartmoor on Sunday and he reckons he uses the font brake a little, just a scrub if anything... Should i tell him he's cheating
