Luke_zoo
I've been looking for a new chain tensoner for my chain and now stuck with the two. Here is my drop out. I used to have the Gusset Bachelor before it snaped, Had to bend it to fit though. Gusset Been looking at the Trialstech race one. Trialstech If I was to buy the Trialstech would I have to take a file to it and bend it again to fix? I dont want a sprung tensoner as I dont like them. Help me please before I go to by it in a few minets. Cheers, Luke. Edited February 7, 2010 by Luke_zoo

Luke Rainbird
What is it about sprung tensioners that you're so against? Better performance and less hassle, win:win.

Borat
Aha, I'm only messing with you mate. As much as you don't like them, I recommend: http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?product_id=10179&category_id=48 As I know afew people that have run them and had no problems, for way over a year. If not, go for the trialtech one mate.
Luke Rainbird
"The frame" keeps breaking them? I have a 74kingz going spare, if it's any use to you then you'd be welcome to it. Doesn't need to mount to the frame, will just sit there out of the way doing its job? Got a Rohloff going too if you change your mind about your frame breaking kit

Luke Rainbird
Looking for £15 posted ideally, may go a tad lower if needs be. Check my FS thread for info/pics If you're snapping springs you're either overtightening, your chainline is dodgy or something is up - I've never had any issues with a tensioner spring in the slightest

DaiTrials
just bought trialstech race. sorry! but, bad choice. I've either broken or had an injury from EVERY chain tensioner appart from the rholoff, you need to spend the extra to get a quality product where it counts. Hope the trial tech works out for you... Ash-Kennard
just bought trialstech race. damn. wish i had seen this. i think that tensioner will be fairly poor to be honest, will move constantly and annoy the shit out of you. you need to get your hands on a rohlof or a 74 kingz.
