scottcj9
Hi, im considering buying a set of trialtech sport 20" forks, with the magura mount same as the ones on tartys. Just interested to know if anyone has ever had a set and what they were like? Also how strong are they? Thanks Scott

scottcj9
I had a set of the old VIZ forks before and they were dreadful because they had the cap in them not the star nut. But they hadnt been supplied with the cap so someone had banged a star nut down them as it was the only way, and they fell apart on me and were useless by the end of it. Are the new VIZ forks different? Also the can you get them with magura mounts? Thanks Scott
LukasMcNeal
I remember a thread a while back where trialtech forks were mentioned as "WIN" multiple times, personally I haven't used them but they do look pretty strong and "WIN." AdamR28
Got some identical viz forks Not quite. The steerer on the Trialtechs is stronger, and the legs are stiffer.
Jake Beach
Not quite. The steerer on the Trialtechs is stronger, and the legs are stiffer. So bacicly the Trialtechs are a better, similar verson of mine?
scottcj9
Ok thanks the trialtech forks sound like the ones to get. Are they still just as strong when running a front rim brake? Im most likely to be going to run a v-brake on them using magura to v-adapters. Thanks Scott
Mark W
I'd have said so, yeah. They're super strong so they should hold up fine. Running the disc ones on my mod and they're amazing.
