onza_rip95
Hey my name is Lewis. For some reason my TPA keeps breaking and stops moving. It is really annoying and I'm spending to much money on new levers and TPA's I was wondering if this is happening to anyone else as I am getting really fed up with it now. Any help would be much appreciated. Many Thanks
Borat
Hey lewis, not spoke in a while mate. You don't need new levers all the time, just a tpa. Are you using one finger? And start afresh, but a tpa kit, then buy a metal tpa wheel off of tarty, so use the metal wheel instead of plastic and everything will be ok. Leistonbmx
Or just leave it. You don't need it to be working.

Leistonbmx
Why? You shouldn't need to use the TPA alot.

craigjames
I make mid ride adjustments all the time, dependant on pad wear or how tired/cramped up my hands are. Having a TPA is really useful.

Revolver
A good TPA is useful, but you can do without. To get a good TPA, either - - get an 04 lever and use a bolt instead of the plastic thing - get an 05 lever and get a metal TPA - get an echo TR lever, and make sure it doesn't leak before installing it - get an RB lever or an 04 body and Fresh Products lever

Ali C
using the TPA is fine in small doses, but it sounds like your winding it on too much and making the plastic dial come out of the threaded push rod. If you need to do more than a couple of turns, its best to move the cylinders closer to the rim.
