wisie
I recently picked up my first trials bike which has been lots of fun until I punctured my rear tyre twice, finding this was the culprit. Is there any tips on fixing this for the time being? Putting small amounts of electrical tape over didn't last long. I intend on buying a new tyre but will have to order online and was hoping to DIY this for the time being. Thanks

craigjames
Put some tape ove the end obviously other wise in a few days you'll be back to square one. Do you not find the tyre pops off at all? P.s. Well done for a well explained and formed questions/topic. You have no idea how much easier it is to sort things and help people when good descriptions and pictures are given; no matter how simple an issue. . Alex Dark
some old innertube with gaffa tape to seal should do the trick nicely
matthew_coggan
I had the same problem once what i did was cut it of with some snips then i filed it downtill there was no sharp bits showing. ( Just run over it with your finger to see if its smooth) then put a piece of tape over the end for extra protection. It worked that well i kept the tire on and kept my new one for when that tire weared out. Edited February 6, 2010 by matthew_coggan
