Revolver
What sort of length is the first dude riding on? That seems about the length I'd be interested in.

You need to go out and have a cruise on a few boards before you make your mind up. I'd go for something shorter than that if you live in a flatish area. It will be a load more fun. Revolver
How long do you reckon it is? Then I'd be able to look at boards shorter than it. I dunno where I'd find some to try out. I've seen 3 in real life, I think.
NVWOCI WVS
30" truck-base, at a guess.

Guest
Going fast. Down hill ? so basically there shit for cruising along at a moderately fast speed ? Could you link me to a longboard that would be good for cruising along at a fast speed.. not down hill just going along the beach foot path (flat no hills)
Revolver
Looks like that Lush Hornet is the best bet. At £170, it's more than I paid for my car.

Revolver
I'll keep an eye on it. Hopefully it won't go up by much. A bit f**king long though! Probably not best for me, judging by the hill count. Edited February 7, 2010 by Revolver
NVWOCI WVS
It isn't too long. The actual truck-base is quite a bit shorter than the deck, so it should be reasonably responsive. I wouldn't go over £50 posted, tops.
Revolver
Neither would I. A kicktail would be nice, though. http://www.stokedlongboards.co.uk/lush-longboards-tula-p-63.html What about that?
NVWOCI WVS
They're actually pretty rad. They dont have any flex in them thouhg, so they're quite a rough ride. Definitely good fun though.

NO flex at all? It looks like pretty much what I'm looking for.
NVWOCI WVS
NO flex at all? It looks like pretty much what I'm looking for. Obviously it does flex a bit, but not compared to a slalom board. That's an amazing price too. I might buy one in the summer.

Excellent. Looks like we've found our longboard
club_card
If I had a longboard, how would I go about stopping, when I'm riding it around? Don't just jump off at high speeds, that's what i did and my legs couldn't keep up with the speed, I went straight to the floor with my face and graized up my arms. davey1991
Reply to sam, If you add some postage to that £10 you can have it, I wont use it would rather sell it as a whole, up for offers.

davey1991
No problem, it has a small split in it anyway.
