trials_pimp
I cant get my game to let me play online. Game loads, downloads game settings and then I select a game. Then it will just sit there, counts up from 0-100% then says waiting for more players, then repeats. Each time im the only player in the Lobby, and it will just keep cycling. I have tried resting my router, and shouting at it. Im out of ideas. Help please

davey1991
With a screwdriver. He he. If it was working fine then stopped then its not your ports. Its probably screwed.

Leistonbmx
3 ports you need to open. Can't think what numbers they are off the top of my head. Google it. access your router via your pc and open them there.
Mat Smith!!
Does it say net type: open? my mate had this problem, can you still join peoples sessions in progress?
davey1991
NAT type not net type. That shouldnt be the problem but if it is quick fix.
Harris
This happened to a couple of my mates, and basically it was because their NAT type was on strict.

eskimo
I know Leistonbmx used to 'Join Session in Progress' from 'Recent Players' list because he had a Strict NAT type.
ManxTrialSpaz
same thing, its pretty much that problem Network Address Translation is not really the same as 'network' But generally, problems like that are NAT problems. My Netgear has recently started going from open to closed NAT types as per xbox live's diagnosis. Do you know what type of router you have? We can always start with port forwarding and go from there. Sam-Addy A3
Bit of a topic hijack, but i have similar problem. Have an inventel orange livebox router thing, tried forwarding all the ports, enabling UPnP, phoning orange and loads of shit, still on moderate NAT and red connection with major lag :| Any help appreciated

trials_pimp
Bang on the money. NAT, NET, NOT whatever type was strict. Needed to change a setting in my router, not sure why it randomly changed, but works now Nice one

AFAIK, port forwarding should eliminate any NAT problems. The only thing I could suggest would be fiddling with the xbox settings. Perhaps enter the network info manually?
