BlueSmokeyJoe
Second hand ENO. Great freewheel, for around £40 (used...). Service it and you'll never look back .

brad1995
Tensile freewheels are great. Good sound, 60 points of engagements and they rarely skip and when they do it is when they are about a year old and if they do just open it up and put some grease in and its fine for another year and all for £40 (new from Tarty's). I love them Edited January 29, 2010 by brad1995
BlueSmokeyJoe
how much new sorry to be a pain I believe they are £85 new on Tartybikes. Tensile freewheels are great. Good sound, 60 points of engagements and they rarely skip and when they do it is when they are about a year old and if they do just open it up and put some grease in and its fine for another year and all for £40 (new from Tarty's). I love them Nooooooo! Not grease! If you service a freewheel, strip it down COMPLETELY and give each part a really good clean. Then reassemble and apply a small amount of a good quality thin oil to any moving parts. Job done . Also, if you plan on buying a Tensile, go for the 96click model, not the 60. Tis far better. ENO *** though!
Do do do
Ok thanks ill look into that then! But while were on the subject of parts, a strong pair of chain tensioners or does it not make much of a diffrence.
6ft-midget
Try these! These should do the trick, and because they are slightly thicker and have the guides they should last a bit longer than the old ones. I'll see if I can get you some new bolts for your axle tomorrow.
