Mikee
I watched the Snyder cut of justice league this evening, in one sitting. It’s by no means a perfect film, but I was blown away by how much better it was then the abomination released a few years ago.
bikeperson45
I liked it a lot more too, having been very iffy about his other DC movies I'd be excited to hear that his cut gets a sequel, apparently his cut isn't canon though... isitafox
I just can't get into DC films, everything about them just feels cheap and tacky. Even to the point where I'm struggling to watch the actors in other films after seeing what a shite job they've done already. In massively late news I watched Fury the other morning at work after seeing one of the reaction channels I subscribe to had seen it and I hadn't. Really enjoyed that, think I need to watch Dunkirk now though!

I guess that will depend on how successful this version is, and whether the masses prefer it. Man, I hope they do continue it though. I liked what Snyder was doing with DC. The dreams/visions of what would be the future films, looked incredible. Particularly that scene with Leto's joker. which although was only a few minutes, was night and day better than the joker we saw in suicide squad. LEON
Godzilla vs Kong was excellent, I watched The Boy 2 straight after, which was total shit.
Rusevelt
Hope this is actually a decent remake of the popular arcade game. R-rating so expect to be pretty graphic throughout

monkeyseemonkeydo
Watched 'Nobody' last night which was quite entertaining. It's obvious that it's done by the people who brought you John Wick and also quite 'Equalizer'y and a good watch but it's a little 'hollow'. No one kills his dog. No one steals his car. The main character just doesn't quite sit right with me. That's the writing though- Bob Odenkirk is great and it's still very watchable. Rusevelt
Emmerich doesn't seem to get fed of destruction of humanity. I'm sure it will look good on IMAX.
isitafox
Found a decent copy of Ghostbusters Afterlife finally, currently half way through and happy to see it's so far living up to my expectations. Scarier than I imagined as well!
monkeyseemonkeydo
When you find a copy of a film, all legal like, what VPN do you use? I'm all for finding films but paying for a VPN sucks.

If it's any use I use an app called Cinema HD V2 and then ADM if I download something to watch later (obviously only things I already own )
monkeyseemonkeydo
Ah fair enough. I found A Boy Called Christmas over the holidays and used my GiffGaff data too actually though I did that through some random mobile VPN thing I downloaded. The cameos were brilliant too as well as the post credits bits.
Mikee
@isitafox I watched ghostbusters afterlife this evening as well. It was a lot better than I expected. Even with all the memberberries.
PLIW
Just watched back to bad all 4 films for the series, Rise of the Footsoldier. I fancied something a bit dark and gangsterish. Didn’t expect it to be based on true events.
monkeyseemonkeydo
Just watched the copy of Ghostbusters I found and also really enjoyed it. I actually didn't know Harold Ramis had died until the bit at the end. Really quite touching. That must be crazy for his family to watch 7 years after he passed away. JT!
No Time to Die was worth a watch. Wasn't amazing, just a solid Bond movie.
manuel
Thought it was a bit pants to be honest, and a bit arrogant (no spoilers). It’s entertaining sure, but the story is nonsense. Follows tradition of each bond movie by an actor generally getting worse after the first one.
isitafox
Not watched a Bond film since Tomorrow Never Dies and have zero desire to either. Never appealed to me after that!
manuel
Casino royal is pretty good, and skyfalls home alone bit is fun too. Those are worth a go.
