Jake.
Saw the amazing spider man the other day, wasn't what it was cut to be. They could have at least used a different storyline, yet they still used the same one as the original spider man. I don't like how hipster they made him look haha, when he found his dads glasses he wore them over contacts... Also I didn't like how he seemed to know all his spidey senses straight away... The original one spent like a good 5-10 minutes of him discovering them by ruining his room and climbing walls, (small spoiler alert) this kid wakes up on a train and instantly beats the crap out of 6 people. But I have to say that this one seemed more comedy based. Can't wait to see Batman as soon as there's a subtitled version out! Oh by the way, I found a little tip about the cinema. ALWAYS wait until the 'fancy' credits are over as there's usually a small clip at the end. I always wait until the small block scrolling text comes up, and just sit there like a boss when a new clip comes up and 80% of the audience have left haha. Happens with most marvel films it seems, and comedies but not the serious films like war and stuff. Edited July 22, 2012 by JMCD

dann2707
Not really but a new film like that you should maybe hold back a little bit. If I were to read what you put and now go see it I'd be like, yeah so its gonna be the same storyline as before :/

If I were to read what you put and now go see it I'd be like, yeah so its gonna be the same storyline as before :/ It was my first film review, I'll make sure to hold back in my next one I'll try it now... Saw hangover 2 and it's hilarious, their movies always get funnier and funnier towards the end, if you haven't seen it- go see it! Are you deaf? Yeah I'm profoundly deaf and wear two hearing aids, bit annoying at times (when I mishear or don't hear what people say) but I've lived with it all my life so it doesn't bother me Does piss me off when they say a movies subtitled and I go see it and it's not, I have a right go at the manager and they give me refund or tickets to see another film free.. Rich J
Ted was ok, someone mentioned it as a tv show, after watching I feel it would be better than the film. Dont get me wrong it is funny but very stretched out. Just watched Machete crazy film!

TROYston
Just watched Battleship. I HATED IT SO MUCH, it is such a let down after seeing the ad. The USS Missouri has been decommissioned, it has no rounds and if i remember correctly cannot sail again. Riannah, i want to shoot her, she cannot act, let alone sing, She is on a radar at the beginning, she would no be be chosen to go out on a search(?) rig/boat, she wouldn't grab an assault rifle, i can go on. Where did the captain of the last destroyer go out of the 3, and no way would they let that willy get in charge and become captain. I cannot even be bothered to carry on with telling you how bad it is, don't waste your time. Not even worth the download! EDIT: forgot to mention my Favourite bit where a destroyer manages to sink nose first, after seeing it scrape because they have come too close to land..... bikeperson45
I didn't like Dark Knight that much either. Highlight because of spoilers.... The whole prison thing wasn't good for me, plus stupid things like how does he get from the Middle-East to Gotham. But mostly the whole coincidental 'good thing that bomb detonates just in time for my broken back to heal and get back to Gotham' thing. Also how the policeman knew he was bat-man seemed stupid, how could no-one else in the police figure it out. And Bane's voice was ridiculous. Also how the policeman knew he was bat-man seemed stupid, how could no-one else in the police figure it out. And Bane's voice was ridiculous. Also highlight because of spoilers.... I liked the prison bit and the film wouldn't have worked without it. Bane wouldn't just let him go after kicking the shit out of him, it was either kill him or prison I guess. He had 5 months or something until the bomb exploded so he had a bit of time to heal and get back to Gotham. He also did a lot of travelling in batman begins so he must have found some ways of getting around. Also there is no suspense he if gets back in time to stop the bomb going off with lots of time to spare. It is always "just in time" in films. Bane's voice was good in some parts but in other parts I think it was too clear and obviously over dubbed after everyone complained they couldn't understand him when the prologue was released a few months ago. I liked his voice in the part where Gordon gets captured and dragged down into the sewers but when bane made the speech about Harvey Dent and in the plane at the beginning, it was too clear and obviously dubbed. It didn't sound as menacing. I too didn't like how the copped worked who batman was on his own. I think it would have been better if he figured it out during the film. Being a detective and all, maybe he could have been put on the case of finding out who batman is or something when he came back and the other cop said he was going to take down batman but kept it to himself too confront bruce first as he believed in the cause of batman and was sceptical about whether he did kill Harvey dent. bikeperson45
batman and was sceptical about whether he did kill Harvey dent. Highlight... The movie did need the prison scene but just seemed a bit meh to me and not as inspirational as I think they wanted it to be. And the travelling wouldn't be as easy since he's no longer a billionaire. I know there's the whole suspension of disbelief thing but I don't like how they just skipped it for ease of the story. And Bane's voice is probably a like it or not kind of thing. It was just too silly for my liking, I would have preferred deeper and less of the accent. Other complaint is his death wasn't climatic enough, seemed like they're trying too hard to ensure batman doesn't kill anyone. I did actually really like how Blake (I think that's the cop) was used in the movie, especially the little Robin bit at the end and I'm kind of hoping for a spin off now... It was pretty good, I just know if I had directed it I would have done it a lot differently Still a lot better than the Avengers though Edited August 6, 2012 by bikeperson45
Mikee
Highlight.. In batman begins when he travelled the world he also had no access to his money, he had to steal to eat. He was even legally declared dead so he had no access to his bank account. I suppose you could say his death was a bit unexpected. A fight scene was probably what people thought would happen. But they can also get away with it since it turned out he wasn't the main villain. Like scarecrow took a taser to the face and then was gone in batman begins when ra's al guhl was revealed as the main villain. I liked the part blake played and with him taking over as batman, but I didn't like the fact he was called Robin. Robin was a sidekick not a replacement. Way better then The Avengers. I think it was better than Batman Begins as well. The Dark Knight is my favourite though.
chimpanzyyyy
Really? What didn't you like about it? lack of an actual main character IMO the Jocker was the man, the whole movie was about him and he made sense here there's a lot going on but no solid character to follow Neither the batman or bane took enough space to stick everything together I love Alphred alot though, want one of these at home!
