MadManMike
Wasn't the first one complete and utter trash that couldn't be any worse though? I watched In Bruges the other night, if anyone else is a little late to the party I suggest you give it a watch - pretty good film that

*gentlydoesit
Yissssssssssssssss! The woman was a fantastic actor wasn't she. Dam well was. I also liked the mood and ambiance it was filmed in. A really dark sinister feel, the horror of it was good but the darkness to it was, for me, the best bit. Greetings
Interstellar.. felt a really long film. good cast and characters, good plot, some oddities in a 2001 a space oddity way.. all round enjoyable film Now this is something I can comment on. I found it to be yet another disappointing sci-fi movie after Gravity. There was so much hype surrounding these two films that I was expecting something along the lines of 2001. Instead, Interstellar was just another film completely spoiled by the characters and how irresponsibly they behaved. And this thing about love transcending space and time... absolutely awful. It's just a chemical reaction in your brain and yet it's the driving plot for a movie which talks about travelling through a wormhole and landing on habitable worlds. *gentlydoesit
Yeah, I agree with all that. Especially the love thing bollocks, I still enjoyed watching it though. Hype gets on my tits, I rarely check reviews or listen to hearsay about a film. Sometimes hard to escape but I managed to with that one, and although it wasn't Oscar worthy I can think of far worse films to spend money watching. Greetings
Yep, time and money well spent but could have been miles better. Just frustrated we can't have a sci-fi the likes of 2001 or even 2010. I don't mind scifi so long as the characters behave in a plausible way (like Star Trek for instance). isitafox
I find the best way to enjoy a movie is to know nothing about it other than the title
Tony Harrison
For me Interstellar was one of the best films I've seen in a long time, and I thought the plot was really good. I'm not about to go getting caught up on how it uses the concept of 'love', but I thought how it used general relativity was good. Really well made too.
isitafox
Finally got around to watching Napoleon Dynamite, I didn't get it.
monkeyseemonkeydo
Same. For me it was like the Royle family- nothing funny happens and it just didn't do anything for me at all. Finally managed to watch Guardians of the Galaxy the other day which was a bit slow to get going but very enjoyable overall.
bikeperson45
Finally got around to watching Napoleon Dynamite, I didn't get it. I didn't first time but the more I thought about it the funnier it got and now I love it. It's a weird one

isitafox
LUCY Holy F*ck it's good! After yet again watching a film with no idea whatsoever about it I can safely say that this belongs in the complete mind f**k category along with Fight Club and Spring Breakers, awesome film!
*gentlydoesit
Lucy.. watched it last night, its deffo worth a watch (anything with Morgan freedman usually is) but I thought it lacked substance. Limitless meets transcendence IMO. Dumb and sh1tter 2.. wow what a let down. The first had some giggles, this one had fewer and the plot :! Dire! bikeperson45
Bridge to Terabithia was surprisingly really good, in a Charlottle's Web kind of way though... It's a children's movie, but for a children's movie, it's hardly a children's movie per say.

craigjames
Watched the lone survivor tonight. Fantastic film with Mark Wahlberg based on a true story. Loved it when I saw it, really good film. Sin City: A Dame To Die For was pretty awful really, just didn't seem to have any flow at all. Lots of tits, lots of action and a major let down really. Most Wanted Man was well acted and the concept was quite good, but it didn't really seem to go anywhere. I guess it was because it was there sort of film that ended in the way it would in real life. No happy ending and nothing fantastical. Edited November 24, 2014 by craigjames
isitafox
Seriously, I've never looked forward to a film so much in all my life. Please do not let me down!
