bigamac
Thought about it before i posted, was going do it in chit-chat. Mods can move if needed (: I've realise now that my knees are quite and truly f*cked. This being because they hurt if i try to run about, do any exercise and shiz shaz. Also if i try and crouch down, i can't do it literally for more than two seconds because of the pain. Feels like the joints in my knees have just become weaker and weaker from riding the bicycle. Me and another friend who also rides bikes a lot has the same problem. But when ever we ride it doesn't hurt at all? Just seeing if anyone else has similar pain, or something similar like wrists or elbows or shiz? And also what you lot do for it?
N.Wood
Yep, all of us lot have bad knees, and all take Glucosamine and chondritin supplements. Can be bought from Holland and Barret etc. My writs, hips, ankles and elbows all click after i've been sat down/not moved for a while. Mark W
It can often happen if you're dehydrated, or if you drink a lot of fizzy drinks and that sort of thing. Mine used to hurt quite a lot, but I just drank more water and made sure to keep hydrated and I've been fine since

ghostrider88
I had problems with tendon of quadriceps muscle,it was really painful when I was doing squats or similar moves... My advice is,go to the gym and train muscles in that area, your broblem could be caused by muscular dysbalance imo,and if you want good joint supplement, best one is animal flex, most complete formula, just little bit expensive. Mark W
I got patellar tendonitis after I snapped my ankle ligaments and couldn't ride for a bit, leading to a muscular imbalance - you don't have to go to the gym to get it back, you can do simply exercises to sort it out. I had to to try and make my hamstrings, quads and calves as flexible and supple as each other, and it worked wonders. If you Google it, just look for patellar tendonitis exercises and they should come up. Even if it's not what you've actually got, it'll probably help make your knees stronger and able to handle the knocks better.
ghostrider88
this way of training will only stretch the stronger muscle,so it will be more ballanced.but when you get back on the bike, the problem will probably rise again.the bast way to get stable=durable knee is to get as strong muscles as posible, but proportionally flexors/extensors.Muscles are the most important supportive structure in knee, not ligaments or other joint structures...
