Luke.P
My threads went in my rear 4bolt mount on my adamant a1modstock 07 frame, bottom right one and top left hand side one. I am getting them helicoiled but i have decided to get the other ones done aswell cause iv been told helicoils are really strong and will take alot to thread them. Just wonderd if anyone is riding with helicoils atm? cheers luke
Ben John-Hynes
I'd imagine a lot of people are. I did on my frames about 2 years ago and it was fine!
Borat
On both my t-poo and my zoo! python, I have purposly helicoiled all mounts. The bolts feel stiffer etc. (The zoo! did have 2 stripped threads though.
Luke.P
yea iv been told it makes them feel really strong..Surely the compaines should think of something to stop them threading so easily? I am getting all four done for £

Muel
I got my kit for £20 posted from ebay, I've already done several mounts with it. £35 for 4 helicoils is rediculous.

My friend got 8 holes helicoiled for £20. £35 for 4 is a bit excessive.
Mikey-uk
Recently done the bottom 2 of the 4 bolts on my frame as 1 was f**ked and the other was tapped to an M6. Now I'm running all 4 bolts as M5 with stronger threads in 2 of them. £15 for a kit off of ebay and it has about 30 coils in it
