Rich
This might be a stupid question but how do you remove the bashring from the crank arms? I have had these cranks for about 6 years and need to replace the bash ring as the bolt threads are pretty knackered, the chain ring is only attached with 3 out of the 5 bolts at the moment. Do I need any special tool, don't want to start hammering away at it and mess something up! Thanks for any help
Daniel Gray
Yer man if your gentle you can tap the three holes with a screw driver and it will turn anti clockwise ( or clockwise ) to losen. Used to do it all the time when i ran those cranks and bash.

Rich
Ok thanks guys. Think i'll take it to a bike shop and see if they have the tool, seems like quite a bit of money for something that I will probably only use once! Any one use a screwdriver/hammer to do it?!
