Sharpening

Yo guys, just a little question, is there any way of sharpening my rim but without useing an angle grinder, I no useing an angle grinder is the best way but, I was just wondering, if there was any way else of doing it?

file it? but f**kabout it'd take forever + angle grinders are proved and tested

Really corse sand paper and a lot of the ye old elbow grease. Used to do that before the angle grinder Idea came about.

I used a stanley knife once.

It was shit.

I also used a file.

It was shit.

Moral of the story; just grind it.

Try using a light amout of tar,

I used to use it before i started grinding my rim.

Only thing is that it rubs off after a while so u have to re-apply it every so often.

I only used to use it as i didnt really feel confident enough to try grinding my rim :$

Get yourself onto Tartybikes>Video guides>Rim grinding. Simple as that, practice on an old rim. Only way you'l ever gain confidence is to try and try again.

Thats what i did in the end,

My brake's never been better so I cant complain now.

Or you could just come to mine and ask me to grind it, rather than dropping hints every 2 seconds. :L
