Rob Brodie
But nah, I think saying 'Deng's stuff is a load of balls' is a bit OTT, bearing in mind he makes a lot of awesome stuff? some awsome stuff maybe the frames dont ride as good as other brands imo and same for forks, bars, brakes... EDIT: bikes tend to ride nicer with less deng parts. il give it to him though the new ti sprockets and fw's seem good EDIT EDIT: things like positioning of brake mounts on frames isnt too good Edited January 28, 2010 by Rob Brodie
Mark W
Them feeling like they don't ride nicer with Deng parts on is that typically they're set up in a similar way which makes them feel like shit. Deng parts on a nicely set up bike do feel good - we go through quite a few bikes here with a fair helping of Dengery and with a good setup they're nice to ride. It's just when you get a super low front end with super low bars and a mega high BB they feel like shit, and that's the route a lot of people go down. Crtd
Yes, Deng parts and bikes aren't the best, but his brands made possible for a lot of people to get into trials. Not every one can/could buy an expensive Koxx or Monty bike....
isitafox
Aluminium is the same in every fork Aluminium differs greatly, remember showing a stem I snapped to a guy who used to work as an engineer for Mercedes and he saw what was wrong with it straight away, if its made cheaply the compound isn't smooth and thats when things snap. Look at the surface where the forks snapped and see if the metal looks good or all bubbled an horrible, that'll show you the quality of the materials. Borat
Right now I couldn't give a shite about zoo! forks, as my echo lites are light, pimp and sooo sick with my front vee on.

LukasMcNeal
Lites are epic forks. People still have pairs from donkeys ago.
weirdoku
I slightly bent a pair of echo lites and sold them on, they are still going.
