Monty Eagel Claw

Skilled trials

Recommended Posts

Currently running these for street, no complaints so far. Was previously running Try-all stickys, which wore down quickly.

The montys seem to be very tacky and grippy, not really hit anything to hard but the side walls seem fairly sturdy, so guess puncture resistance is high. Work well in the wet too. Overall a good tyre at a good price, also one of the lightest tyre I think.

The rear eagle claw tyres are really good. However.. The best tyre setup, and a few people will agree, is a front tryall tyre and a rear eagle claw.. Most mod riders swear by this setup.

So do I (Y) That's the best setup.

Monty Is very bouncy, wears down in about 6-7 months of riding,

more puncture resistant than maxxis, and super light.

I swear by a rear Cagle claw, it's just a good springy tyre that doesn't cost too much, lasts a good while and doesn't weigh a ton! Not so impressed by the one I'm running up front at the moment though. I think the general consensus of eagle claw rear, tryall sticky front is the way to go.
