Luke.P
Hello all, just wonderd if anyone has one, how do they ride!? Why they called modstock? Thanks luke
Laurence--Trials
ModStocks are called... well ModStocks because they can have a mod or stock hub and will not effect the riding or frame in anyway. However im not 100% on what i just told you so someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
max-t
No, they are called 'Modstocks' because they are mod spaced at the rear (116mm) and stock sized (26" wheels) . I had a long one for way over a year and it improved my riding dramatically. If you can get one cheap, then it is definitely worth investing in one. J.KYDD
Phatmike had one for quite a while a couple of years back and he seamed to get on with it really well. Check out some of his older vids, particularly the bristol vid with him and matt burrows.
Matt Burrows
Urgh I used to ride so shit on that control . Heres another vid with Max, Mike and me all on Adamants in Bristol. Max has the long frame and Mike and me are both on shorts. How they ride really depends on what version it is, I hate the long version but then have ridden the short frame for 2 years now. Neil T used to ride amazing on the long frame. If you use the search you will probably find hundreds of opinions and videos of the frame, so I suggest you try that first before asking questions that have been answered in depth before.
