Revolver
Sounds to me like this whole 24" thing is to good to be true. Im 5'9, i was wondering if i would be able to handle this? Ive always rode mod, but ive ridden quite a few different stocks, and i just feel like im a midget and i cant do anything when im on them. Will the 24 be easier for me to handle, while having the same plus sides as a stock? Basically, yes. If you like the idea of a stock but feel like it's a little too big for you, a 24" is win. I reckon I'm going to wait for more choice of frames, lol. I really don't hate my zoot enough to warrant spending £280 to get this frame and not even necessarily like it. I still want one though
Canardweb
Cant wait to get my 24" TGS Rockman. It is real! I talked with Xavi Ksas, and he is testing a 24" Kortz.
Revolver
SICK! Please let it have a sensible BB height.
Mark W
Rockman... Sensible BB heights... Nope, doesn't compute. But then again, I'm a mod purist Indianatrials - the whole bike is smaller than a stock, so if stocks feel too big it stands to reason that these shouldn't. Sure, i was just wondering how much smaller, i guess a dumb question, i just need to ride one, but i know of none within a 6-7 hour drive. cai
SICK! Please let it have a sensible BB height. Na, any where inbetween +55 and +75 sounds good to me. You've got to remember an Inspired is +35, and that doesn't feel 'trialsy' (I know the long stays also contribute to this..) So it only makes sense to go higher, seeing as this is suposed to be a 'real' trials bike.
Revolver
Rockman... Sensible BB heights... Nope, doesn't compute. But then again, I'm a mod purist I know... it sounds highly unlikely, but it looks like that because is pretty much as high as you could get away with, so I dunno what they'd do instead. Bigman
The BB on the rockman is actualy going to be abit lower than the because! I was talking to the guys the other day about it, geo is looking something like 1060, +65, 72, 370mm chainstays, I may have to try and get one myself when i get back to the UK, love the idea of a trialsy 24! Mark W
What's the reach gonna be, if you know?
Revolver
+65 looks more sensible... But +50-60, now you're talking!
Bigman
What's the reach gonna be, if you know? No idea, sorry Mark, If i had solidworks on this computer i could work it out for you, but unfortunatly i don't Adam
Martin Grainger
whats the difference between the street and trials models? is there any geo differences? or just the seat?
Revolver
The geo difference, which is huge - Trials Wheelbase: 1040mm Chainstay Length: 367mm (with 18:15 gear ratio) BB Rise: +70mm Head angle: 73.5° Centre of BB to centre top of head tube: 650mm Street Wheelbase: 1035mm Chainstay Length: 380mm BB Rise: +30mm Head angle: 73° Centre of BB to centre top of head tube: 650mm Apparently the reach is the same, though. Little Yoshi
How many parts could I swap over from my stock to the 24"?
cai
How many parts could I swap over from my stock to the 24"? All but the rims tyres, tubes and spokes.. EDIT: Allthough you may want a longer stem than whats on your stock - like a 150 x 30 mod stem. Edited January 23, 2010 by cai

EDIT: Allthough you may want a longer stem than whats on your stock - like a 150 x 30 mod stem. Got a 120x25 on that and it's pretty much perfect A lot of the 24s we do have a normal-ish stock stem too, unless it's the really dinky little PZ31 stem. They tend to run higher rise bars like either Trialtech Sports, Inspireds or Trialtech High Rise bars. So yeah, you can basically bosh everything over apart from rims and tyres (could bodge the tubes in). You may need to get a new rear sprocket too though to adjust the ratio accordingly. JT!
And they laughed at me when I said 2010 would be the year of the TGS 24" bikes. I wish I could find where I said that.
