mr.tattoo
hi right had enough of trying to find a full bike so bought odd bits and gonna build one instead, few questions though, what tyres and pressures are a good base setting for a newbie? and also same question regarding what gearing? any help apreciated, thanks
Revolver
Tyres - high rollers, minions, mountain king, rubber queen or der kaiser. I'd go for the first two if you're new though. Pressure - 25psi all round
ogre
gear ratio, 22-18, 18-15, 24-20 are the usual weapon of choice for stock riders.
Jan Tore
I found it easier to go lowpressure in the beginning.. Easier to balance the bike. I'm running about 20psi rear and 25 front now though. I'd go with Continental tyres, I love them.
Alex Dark
My personal preference is 18-16, 15 psi / 17psi.... Continental der kaiser tyre / Try-all stiky

pogo
Pressure is all about personal preference, start hard then slowly let the pressure out untill it feels good.
