06 Short Gu Or 06 Python Long?

Gu's do ride great though.

Had a go on my mates short one and i reckon it would ride nicer than my long with a good build.

Although saying that. If you like long frames then the Zoo is better for you.

Zoo's are monsters for tgs moves especially.

They fly up sidehops piss easy.

Edit: Remember the Zoo has really long chainstays. So its that which gives it a big wheelbase aswel. So the Gu in terms of reach wont be all that much smaller.

the zoo with it being longer will give you more leaverage on sidehops and things where as the gu with it being shorter it will be flickyer, pick up easier and ride good, the zoo will also ride good but if you are used to the zoo then id stay with it.

also next time you are out with him have a go on the gu and see how it rides for your style, this could help you decide :)

I've got an 06 short GU, love it, would reccommend it and the wheelbase measures out to be 1030-1035 so it isn't exactly that short. Pretty light aswell considering the build its got on it and its still strong as :turned:

However, never properly ridden an 06 thong so I can't say which I prefer.

Hmm, all this about Gu geo's is confusing.

I'm gonna put it down as deng's geo's going wonky?

pretty much, depends on what forks and chain you are running to be honest, the shorts obviously range from 1000-1015ish and longs 1030-1045

i had an 07 python which is ment to be 1040 and was nearly 1060 so meh.
