Sponge
will this frame be availible to buy?? looks really nive plus the 5mm shorter frame would help a little. http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/26_inch_frames/echo_pure_sl_2011_with_bb/c14p11612.html Here's hoping the new '11 SL rims'll be up on the site soon
Mark W
The parts should be up towards the end of next week - we just need to get a bit of time to get the photos done and get them up online. I think we've only got 19" SL rims in stock seperately, although we've got F+R for the Lite SL full build...

Pauly
Any ideas on when the new echos are going to be out ? , as much as I like the sl , I don't think they will last me personally 5 mins.
AdamR28
New Echos? No plans as far as we know. There is a non-SL version of their 26" frame too.
SamKidney
These look pretty lovely. Nice to see that the stem on the 24 has been given a higher rise, if only a little. Should make things more bearable. Edited April 19, 2012 by Echo Lite
Coaster
No more Echo bikes for me. That Koxx like BB high is horrible.
Laurence--Trials
That echo SL 24" is faaarr too long! (IMO)
ghostrider88
That echo SL 24" is faaarr too long! (IMO) So maybe finally an option for taller riders who want to try 24?
craigjames
That echo SL 24" is faaarr too long! (IMO) It's only 5mm longer in the wheelbase compared to the old one?! Mine feels really nice and it's 1065...

Oops, didn't realise thought it was less than 1060, never mind then
cai
Not sure what I make of this: The geometry seems good, but it looks more like a street/dirt-jump bike than a trials bike
Revolver
Deng needs to learn how to set a seat. No-one uses a seat at that height on a street bike. Now instead of a nice picture you've got to imagine how it looks at a sensible height.
Mark W
The geometry seems good... Long rear end, low BB, slack head angle - no thanks...
cai
Long rear end, low BB, slack head angle - no thanks... "Wheel base 1035mm, BB high 15mm, chainstays 385mm, head tube 100mm, head angle 73°." Head angles hardly slack at 73° , and 385mm chain stays are a pretty common length and not overly long. Fair enough the BB is low by today's standard - but some people, like me, would happily ride a bike with a BB height of +/-
Mark W
I guess I'm spoiled by riding bikes like the 2011 Fourplay which was 380, the 2012 which is 375 and a few other custom frames that are nearer 365mm. Shorter back ends rule - they just make the whole bike feel way more poppy and responsive. I sort of take your point about the head angle, but yeah, not so keen on that BB height at all. I've always found lower BBs suck for manuals and spins, they just seem to make everything feel more sluggish and straight-line-y. Horses for courses though I suppose. They also need to kill that seat/post setup with fire.
Lewis Gething
Imagine how it looks at a sensible height. Probably like this: Edited April 20, 2012 by streetrials24
Revolver
That's ok, still not gonna take that over my zoot.
Mark W
If the seat tube was a bit taller (so the whole frame was taller overall) I think it might look pretty cool. The Czar frames have some nice touches, but I don't really like how they're super low slung.

Andeee
It's a pity Deng is not on facebook so that riders can express their views when he brings out new stuff. He does have a fair few different e-mails relating to different departments whether its dealer or public. You should e-mail him i did once.. He claimed the 07 zoo bars were the same as 06 ones.. even though they was not
Rusevelt
Problem is, there are still certain restrictions imposed by the chinese government when it comes down to online information and communication with european and western counterparts.
