Dan_Trials
Just weight it on bathroom scales Do you take the scales to the bike or the bike to the scales?
tom@eastcoasttrials
right get some digital bathroom scales , set them to lbs , or kg , then get hold of your bike and stand on the scales and see the difference ex... you weight 82kg on your own , when holding your bike whilst your on the scales it says 92 kg work out the difference and tht your bike ... 82kg to 92kg is 10kg tht the weight of you bike x hope this helps
Ben John-Hynes
Just weight it on bathroom scales That'd be so awkward though. How would you hold/secure it without adding/taking away weight?

chris4stars
dont weigh it on bathroom scales unless you are curious if your bike is about 8/9 kg or 10/11kg...thats all you'll be able to conclude from them! the reading accuracy is at least +/= 5% and sometimes more...especially on digital ive found!? they arent ideal...a 10kg bike could seem to weigh just over 9kg, to almost 11kg depending, which im guessing by the thread...isnt really helpful to anyone, you realy need a decent set specific to weighing smaller weights kitchen cooking scales often go up to 5kg, if you can, some minor dismantling and you can have a MUCH more accurate reading Edited January 8, 2010 by chris4stars
