MadManMike
www.uniqlo.co.uk - got a sale on their HeatTech stuff. They're thermal base layers that are super thin so they feel really lightweight, but keep you really warm. I wear one all the time and they rule! You really notice when you don't wear one, compared to being out with one on. Can't recommend them enough, and they're a fiver now. DO IT! Hmm, interesting - I was expecting camp tight stuff rather than normal looking clothing! Might have to give one of the T's a go
Mark W
Yeah, I mean I wouldn't wear my white one on it's own 'cos they're relatively thin so it'd be gay as f**k. I usually wear S t-shirts, but I got them in M so they're reasonably long, but 'cos they're thin when you wear a smaller T over the top they're not too bulky. I usually only wear a base layer, T and a hoodie and that's all I need most of the time, and bearing in mind most of my riding goes down after 5, aka cold o'clock, that should give you an idea how warm they are! They're made of tiny little tubes so they're really good insulators. More thinner layers rather than fewer thicker layers is the way to do it. MadManMike
Nice, sounds like the ideal solution - a Tee and a Hoody is my preferred riding clothing so just adding another thin layer sounds good! I get paid on Tuesday, assuming they're still that price I'll give it a blast.
Mark W
Their normal price is like a quid more or something, should be under £7 max. For the record, I bought 2 long sleeve ones then just wear them under a T-shirt. Had a white one to wear under my football shirt and cut the sleeves off it to make it look right, and it still does a really good job. onza_rip95
Hey I really wouldnt risk it especially if you have hydraulic brakes as they are very likely to freeze up and may damage you're TPA
Mark W
Mineral oil shouldn't freeze, DOT fluid shouldn't freeze, and if you put some antifreeze in your water bleed it shouldn't freeze
