trialsmax04
Hi all, just got my new rear wheel using this hub : HubNow it is imposible to get my hope cassette spacers on the hub body. Are they suposed to be ridiculusly tight or is there a tolerance issue?I bought the hope spacers because the guys at tarty said the trialtech ones are ever so slightly smaller. Well the hope ones dont fit either Help please....max
craigjames
Done the normal thing such as removed all the burs on the cassette body with a file?

Guantanamo
i had the same problem with both the trial tech spacers and the hope spacers. In the end i went with the onza spacers and they fitted a treat -> http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?pr...category_id=511Hope that helps
Endohopper
Failing that , you could simply disassemble a conventional Shimano casette and use the harvested spacers from that . Most bike shops are happy to give 'em away as if it needed to be replaced due to worn teeth , it's now scrap .
trialsmax04
Thanks for the imput guys. Sorted it now. I used the pillar drill and a dimond grinding bit to gently hone out the centre.Simples
craigjames
Aye thats all well and good, you've got it sorted. But why are these issues arising in the first place. I'm currently waiting for Tarty to open in the new year so i can send back some Trialtech spacers and for someone like Hope, who do everything in house to get it wrong is a little worrying.
