wally
The Sabadell trials park is well worth a visit, its about 3/4 hour from Barca. Video from my trip below. Theres also one in Pau in the South of France near to spanish border which looks quite good. http://www.youtube.com/user/wally6097#p/u/2/UGgOkD19iqM
JackMeek
There are hundreds and hundreds of places to ride in europe it is endless. BCN is a good place to go for a while. Get hold of Arron from sabadell he lives opposite the park. I also know that hes on this forum too. You have to visit cesar's trial park get off at the station premia de mar. The trial park is called La Poma theres others but once you meet up with a few riders they will show you where they are. This is all you need to navigate in barcelona is this link. http://www.renfe.es/cercanias/barcelona/mapa_zonas.htmlThere is a spanish Style/version of the well known Buthiers rocks in france and it is a red rock area in a town called Gava. Ot pi's old stomping ground and dani comas training area The BCN local riders will tell you how to find it. You could spend ages riding barcelona and not even scratch the surface. There is barceloneta. The Famous sea barriers Huge concrete blocks You got Grenoble All the TMS crew and Nico and Aurelien fontenoy. Get hold of them through FBYou could give Steven Vanheste Through FB Give PC a Shout pierre charles and Chimpanzy They will be a proper laugh. Good lads BelgiumAmbrogio Chessa from italy is pretty cool guy in italy. If he is busy with shows then his mates will show you about if you go as far as italy.I could go on for ages tom hopes that helps.
psycholist
If you want to go west instead (At the definite risk of having to ride in bad weather ), Ireland has a few nice spots... Best thing about it is the cops have no idea what trials is, so they pretty much leave us alone for street riding - there's good stuff in Dublin, done Laoghaire, Limerick, Cork and Galway... I've ridden what I could of the park in Sabadell and it's brilliant too... If you're running Maguras you'll need to wipe the dust off the rims every so often to keep the brakes sharp it's that dry ...

Jonny Jones
There is barceloneta. The Famous sea barriers Huge concrete blocks Sadly they were completely blocked off when myself and John Shrewsbury visited them on the Crapheap roadtrip in August 2009. Hopefully they are accessible now!

Rich Pearson
Contacting Fatmike would be a highly productive move in planning a EuroTrip. I'm not sure there are many countries left in Europe he hasn't ridden in.... Rich

nyoli
hey ! spots around barcelona where we go to ride: - As said above, the trial park of Sabadell - Terrassa, a city very close to Sabadell, has a perfect neighbourhood 4 ride trials. it's like a dream. - Sant Fruitós de Bages, a village which is at 60 km at the north of barcelona, hold a round of the BIU world championship some years ago - Also said above, Gava, the town where Dani Comas lives. - Rocagroosa, a mountain which is full of buthiers-style rocks, next to Lloret de Mar (maybe some of you have been there haha) - Barcelona - Girona, a town about 80 km at the north east of Barcelona, has good street spots - Ripoll, the village which this past year hold a round of the World Cup, has a very good trials park - Calldetenes, a village which is 60 km at the north of Barcelona, has a good trials park Buff, I think I don't forget anything Ask to me for more information

Under my point of view, the best spots in BCN to ride, or near, are: Sabadell, La poma, Gava and Sea Barriers of Barcelona port.
