Rockman Rotor And Bb7

Leave it longer and it'll be fine. My bb7 took about 2 weeks to bed in properly.

Weird....

Mine, takes only one ride with avid rotor, putting some water on it.

BUT my question, is do the rockman rotor is efficient with bb7?

Cause i'm more interested in lightweight.....but without a loss of power.

Though I haven't tried any lightweight rotors yet, I cannot stress enough the importance of burning in your rotors and pads. Find a long hill or pedal hard with you brake on for about 20 seconds. Let off for ten, and repeat 10-20 times. At our shop I've gotten BB5s to work almost as good as Hopes doing this.

I did do that, and since i'm living in the mountain, no need too search for a hill ;) .

I know it take a certain time, but clearly, there are out there some very efficient rotors, and les efficient rotors....

That's why i'm asking if someone use a bb7 with the rockman rotor.

My main issue, is not to make my viz brake working good, but to know if the rockman works as well as the original with the bb7.

Cause it's the ligther rotor.

i ran a gusset r rotor on a bb7 180 once and the whole disk warped 5mm in one direction, up until that point i was really impressed with the performance but maybe you should just stick to the avid range .

I guess it'll be the better solution for ultimate performance, but like i said i'm looking for lighweight, even if bb7 and lightweight don't fit very well.
