Bliv
I'm going to be buying some 170mm ISIS FFW cranks soon and at the moment It looks like it will be one of these forged cranks.Of these 3, what do people think? I did some searching and it seems like Threads can be a problem with these particularly with the ENO freewheel. What are some some ideas for quality freewheels that can be run with a bashring that won't break the bank?Any help is appreciated!Adam Edited December 27, 2009 by Bliv
Mikee
I have been running the trialtech cranks for about 1 and a half years now and I have absolutley nothing bad to say about them. They are a good set of cranks and I would reccomend them to you.
Bliv
Thanks, are you using a FFW on it? what type?
Ben John-Hynes
Trialtech cranks, Tensile freewheel and any bash(all do the same thing)

Mark W
Only issue with Eno freewheels is that they've got a very slightly oversized thread so they are theoretically more prone to stripping crank threads. Shouldn't be any sort of issue with your Tensile though. You can't really go wrong with any of the cranks listed, so although I wouldn't usually say it, just go for whatever you think looks best If it helps at all, I've got TT cranks on my new bike and they're absolutely fine with a Tensile 96 click freewheel on there. Bliv
Thanks guys,It looks like I will probably go with Trialtech and s tensile FW if I can find it here in the US.Edit:I think I've got a TruVativ Hussefelt bb in my current frame and I was wondering if a new bb would be a good idea when I get a new frame. Bliv
Use Tartybikes.Looks like I''m going to have to, for something as small as cranks shipping doesn't seem too bad.
BlueSmokeyJoe
Hey, I'm running a set of Echo cnc cranks with an Eno. Can't report any problems with the threads, had the freewheel off a couple of times to service it and everything is fine (both cranks and freewheel). Bliv
Ignore meok I'm sure the Echo CNC is fine, I don't have the money to spend on them right now so I was asking about the forged cranks.
