Or am I looking at the wrong meaning of worth it Edited December 27, 2009 by alextheferret
Harryy
That depends on how much you got the frame for. Or am I looking at the wrong meaning of worth it Just if there is another frame that may be worth similar and have better qualitys but I suppose that is mostly opinion of the rider to be honest
Ullapool Trials Rider
Well, Stem: Try-All NUC (you will need a £15 sloping top cap though)Cranks: Probably the Neon Forged cranks off tarty.Forks: Definitely '09 Echo Urbans. They have a disk and HS33 mounts so you can switch between the two.Hope thats helps.
Mark W
Well, Stem: Try-All NUC (you will need a £15 sloping top cap though)The new Try-All 3D Forged stem costs about £13 more than the NUC, but you get a (lighter, nicer) sloping top-cap free with it so it works out as slightly better value. It also happens to look a bazillion times nicer Personally though, I prefer longer/taller stems so something Trialtech Race/Onza T-Master-y does it for me. Nice 'n' cheap too! Mark W
Yeah but its a 2 bolt stem and they are a bitch with riser bars. The Try-All stem's got a sorta wider clamp system to it. Ali managed to get some Trialtech High Rise bars into a Try-All 3D stem with no hassle. I'll definitely agree that it's not as straight-forward to use as a conventional 4-bolt face plate, but the Try-All's a bit easier to use than, say, the TR.EDIT: To see what I mean:
