315r
well, maybe I wasn't being quite honest My comp bike weighs around 10kg, thats with some super light parts (ti bb, pedals axles trialtech sl rims ect) but also some heavier stuff too (rain king rear tyre, 200mm rotor, vee brake with adaptor and booster). However, my street bike weighs 11.5kg with no light weight parts and a saddle, but I have now taken the brakes off and fitted some lighter tyres and its now around 10.3kg.Stick with the heavier weight for now, but if you do comps next year, you could put some lighter parts on before them. This is exactly what I'm thinking to do.Stick with some heavy weight for the moment and then, when I'll start to do more interesting things, like comps, maybe i'll change tyres for some light ones, new light tubes, wellgo/trialtech pedals and ti screws. But for the moment I'm just have to improve my personal skills and not be worried about weigh. Although at first time i was worried about my bike weigh moreover when people are talking about 7,5 kg or 8 kg for a some super light stock bikes Thanks for advices Ali C Edited December 26, 2009 by 315r
