max-t
Are you sure this isn't due to bad posture on the bike? Got any videos out? How long have you been riding/riding this bike?

BenJohnson
You could try a slightly higher stem and see if that cures it. Again with what Max-t said it could be bad posture when you are riding

Tried a differnt stem still no difference, maybe could do with a long frame? when I go on my mates long frame seems ok.
Stan Shaw
front end does seem low, plus those bars look pretty far forward, if you made the front end slightly higher plus tilted the bars back a tad it could help (and would make the bike ride better )
Polyrhythm
Always take care of your posture, but the main thing for me (I'm getting a bit old now) is to warm up. Do some stretching and start off gently and keep having a stretch every now and then. Get your muscles moving before you bang out those explosive moves and you'll be able to ride as much as you like. Dr.scratchensniff
If it's lower back pain, make sure that you don't just need to take a huge shit.
scary_jeff
I've had a bit of lower back pain which I've just put down to riding with this new geo (back nowhere near vertical). If it's a pain at a specific point, you should see someone about it. If it's just a general pain after a couple of hours riding, then it's probably just muscle ache. Kieran
I get this too, doubt its anything to do with my height, i ride mod and im about 5 ft 8. However, got a pretty low front end, might be the problem

benthedog
I have the same problem too. I go out on my bike for no longer than half an hour and my lower back is aching. As I'm under 5 foot i can't see it being the height. I might have bad posture but what is a good posture? Help please.
trialsrider.chris
mabie its because you have been out a while and your muscles have not been used to it and then when you have started again you have pulled them or they ache this happens to me when i stop for a while sometimes but goes in time chris
