LazyMonkey Posted December 20, 2009 Report Share Posted December 20, 2009 complete beginner here..bought a monty 220 hydra a couple months ago...took my rear wheel off to grind today, and ama bit perplexed now that i am putting it back on...there are snail cams and chain tugs on it, i figured it would be no problem but when it came time to throw it all together im a bit confused..when using snail cams AND chain tugs, do the cams stay on the inside of the frame? anyone have any good pics of their own snail cam/.chain tug setup? I would use the snail cams if you can get a decent amount of tension on the chain, if not use the chain tugs as they have more ajustability. You can check photos of almost any monty and you'll see cams outside.Or old monty's didn't have that?
