CalopS
Trying to remove my square tapered BB to fit on a isis one but the drive side wont budge at all.Used a massive wrench thing, which mangled the BB a bit but should still be enough on it to get it out. Also tried hammering in a kink in the side of it then hammering it with a flat head screw driver but no luck there either.left overnight coated in WD40Anyone got any tips on what else i could do?Thanks, Carl
Borat
Are you using a bb tool? Put the bb tool in a socket, then put a huge f**k off bar on it, and turn it.
Jamie East
Ive got the same problem too. Using a metal bar on the BB tool and a hammer, nothing. Ending up mangling the teeth up.Interested to see if you find a way to get him out....
CalopS
Yes I'm using a BB tool I guess it was a viable question seen as i didn't mention using one.........but yes i used a BB tool with a massive wrench on the end.also tried with a smaller wrench and a hammer but no luck.Could it be because its freezing cold? Lord Banks
Heat the BB up with a blowtorch, that may break the seal enough to get it shifted.

Dale-Hill
Which bb tool you got? Try get one of these Then a piece of metal with a big enough hol to get the crank bolt through. Tighten the tool and the plate to the bb get a hammer and smack it till it works it self loose
Ben John-Hynes
To enable yourself to get more torque on the BB/tool, you should put the BB tool into the BB, get something thin, with a hole in for shaft(?) the crank bolt to go through and put that on the BB tool and screw the crank bolt in. That'll hold the BB tool in place. Here's one I made earlier; Edited December 17, 2009 by Ben John-Hynes
