tmusson
Just want to know if it would be suitable for stock? I curently have a tryall 16 tooth freewheel on the rear and 18 tooth sprocket. Thinking of putting the freewheel it on the cranks, then buying a 13 tooth sprocket or maby even a 12 tooth?your thoughts please.

ogre
some numbers for you tom:18-15 the normal gear has a ratio 1.218-16 (your ratio) is 1.12520-16 has a ratio of 1.2516-14 has a ratio of 1.1416-13 has a ratio of 1.22..16-12 has a ratio of 1.33..16-14 would be to soft, rolling moves would have 0 power, static gaps would be all floaty and shit16-13 would make your gear feel a little harder, probably the best bet. maybe a bit to heavy mind.16-12 is probably to hard, static moves would feel shit, but you'd have alot of power for rolling moves16-13s your best bet but it'll feel odd for a while... Muel
I use it, will never use anything else. I'm wierd though, I always found 18:12 too light on a mod with 158mm cranks.Heavy gearing for the ultimate win.
