Dan S
do you think that will make difference in your sidehop? I don't.Why would you bother?
Muel
No-one helpful at all, (apart from LukasMcNeal)? Congrats TF. He wants to remove the finish because it's peeling and looks shit. Either help him or don't bother posting, there's no need!Personally I'd shotblast it off and re-paint them, or sand it off and polish it back to a mirror finish. Dale-Hill
You know there not painted right? That's the lacquer they put on it?The reason there get the mirror finish is because they have been polished.

(and you luke ) but sanding will make it rough , id have to work down the grades to wire wool , that will take ages and im not sure it will look good in the end , i was after a liquid more like nirto morse that would do it .. thanks anyway though mate

LukasMcNeal
and you luke Start with rough paper and get finer and finer grades then itll be polished, well after polishing with a buffer and a bit of autosol it will!
davey1991
Excuse me, i'm helpfull. I'f nitromors or sand the paint off. Then you can either do as has been said and gradually use finer grit paper to polish the bars.Or.You can prep the bars properly and use this.http://www.paintsprays.co.uk/catalog/produ...products_id=229This probably wont have the lustor of polishing but will work.
