If I Only Ate Corn Flakes For 3 Months

Would I just loose bucket loads of weight and turn into a very ill person? Or would I be still functioning like a normal English?

I often wonder about things like this basically because I don't really know.

For a start I know you wouldn't be getting enough fat when compared to protein etc but would that be a really bad thing? perhaps a person that did this would become really lean?

or I suppose if you ate enough you could put on weight...

You would suffer from malnutrition.

You need a varied diet to be healthy.

I get what your saying BUT I've just recovered from a broken jaw.

While I was recovering I didn't eat anything for about 3/4 weeks, just milkshakes and soup. I lost a stone which obviously isn't cool but I didn't feel all that bad.

ALSO I've seen a body shock, or something similar, which featured a guy that could only eat cheese.... he looked reasonably healthy on the outside and didn't complain about any physical problems

SOoooO I'm not so sure about it all

This is not the constructive information I was hoping for, I'm just going to have to try it

Are you some sort of retard? Wait, don't answer that - I already know the answer. You've asked for constructive advice on a completely stupid question. Here is (taken from previous replies) all you need to know:

You would suffer from malnutrition.
People survive without food for weeks, so corn flakes definitely won't be fatal.

So you wont die, but you wont enjoy it.

I'm not retarded you f**king dick, I want to know what effect it will have on the body. Diet is something I'm interested in, and I want to know what happens to body composition when taken to extremes.

That's not retarded

Yea, it is. Because it's already known what a completely fibrous diet will do to you. You'll "shit like a trooper", and your body will be lacking nutrients that it needs. You'll lose weight, but in a way that will mean you'll put it back on exponentially when you start eating properly again.

Dont do it unless channel 4 are filming it and paying you. "You f**king dick"

It's not known, that's just what you think will happen...

Your attitude is pathetic

I know it about as much as I know that if I got shot it would hurt. EDIT: i.e. i haven't been shot, but I don't need to be shot to know it would hurt (just thought I'd clarify because you seem to have trouble with simple points)

Live on a diet of broken glass for all I care, you asked for advice and it's been given. It's not my fault you're a blinkered prick who can't take shit on board. You're clearly some kind of crunchy nut.

I remember seeing a "Despatches" episode all about the cereal industry. They asked one guy to do the "Special K diet" which meant he had to have one bowl for breakfast, one for lunch and he could have a normal dinner. Think in 2 weeks he only lost .5KG and found his attention span and tolerant/mood levels completely smashed up, which left him feeling pretty crap. Obviously this isn't exactly the same trial as your idea but I would guess you wouldn't loose that much weight but would end up feeling pretty down.

Predictable response about me being an idiot and you being awesome.

You're putting a lot of effort into being an absolute tosser, just glancing at your profile I know exactly what type of person you are.
