Jack Morton
The bearings in my BB shattered last night, So now in need of a new BB. I have narrowed it down to aEcho TR ISISNeon ISISTry-all ISISWhich would be the one to choose. I was thinking Try-all as the bearings are also replaceable in it. What do you think would be the best to go for.Jack.
Nic84echo
I know it's not on your list, but I've been using a Moe isis for about 5 months now, i got it pretty cheap off ebay (just came across it by chance and decided to give it a shot). It's similar in spec to the echo tr, but lighter. Has been good, it's still running smoothly despite the hideous weather i ride in daily, can't really complain. Matthew62
I use a truvativ giga pipe dh which is pretty darn alrite. Quite heavy but fairly strong. I have recently learned that Danny Macaskill has or does still use one.Personally i think it would be nice if we started moving over to hollowtech now. I've always used splined or chainring type cranks so i'd me more than happy to move over, i'm not sure how it would effect the screw on types. laurent
The neon one is certainly the stronger, due to the m12 axle.So if you want somtehing to last, take it.If you want something lighter take the try all, smooth and it's seems to be the lightest one. Ali C
It's similar in spec to the echo tr, but lighter.I think its pretty much identical, but the alloy bolts/cups make the echo lighter.
Jack Morton
Reset Ti dude, light as.I only have about £50 to spend and thats me pushing it, Mam has band me from spending loads on my bike as I will be looking to buy a car soon.& looks like I am going to be getting a truvativ giga pipe dh
Nic84echo
I think its pretty much identical, but the alloy bolts/cups make the echo lighter.Moe has just tipped the scales at 275g including the cups and bolts (my bike is in a box in pieces right now so I thought I'd go check ), thats a good 30g lighter than the Echo's claimed weight. Maybe mine is an anomaly.

LukasMcNeal
DH isis 128 x 68DH isis 128 x 73The numbers in blue are the shell widths, depending on frame this changes. You will most likely need a 68mm shell width but it varies from frame to frame.
