josh barker
you rub it on. A good way how is to spin your wheel then rub it against the rim, dont use too much though or your brake will go crap Edited December 10, 2009 by josh barker
dannytrialskid
So all I have to do is get some tar from the road?Go to my bike put the tar on the rim and spin the rim and that will make the brakes better?
Guest
Rub a thin line all the way round your rim, if you have HS33's and you put too much on then the brake pad might actually stick to the rim for a while once you have let go of the leaver. Using tar can make your brake very very loud. Oh, and I must warn you in the wet it turns into a horrible liquid-ish mess!

Ullapool Trials Rider
Don't use tar from the road. Use bitchamen ( roofers ) tar. It is stickier.
