brad1995
i have just ordered some onza v brake adapters and tnn enginnering v pads from tartys and i already have some shimano deore v brake calipers. I was woundering due to the small bit on the brake pad where the allen key head thingy screws on to tighten the pad to the caliper, would the caliper hit the tyre before the pad gets chance to hit the rim because not enough spacers will fit onto the small metal bit ? duncan_echo26
There shouldn't be a problem with the arms hitting the tyre I don't think (if this is what you are worried about, I'm not too sure )Also onza v brake adapters aren't the best. My friend has snapped a few.EDIT: The spacers have to go on to the pads in a certain order too so make sure they are on correct. Haha.Yeah, i've snapped two in the space of about a month. But my front brake is super powerful. The Heatsink ones are meant to be great if you can get your hands on them.
