Try taking the bike out for a few more rides and it may sort itself. I had about 5 rides where my shoulders were sore after changing bikes a few years ago. The pain disappeared completely on the sixth ride and never came back...

i will have to try that , but i was hoping for soeone to tell me bar position change or something along those lines ...

I think over time your forearms will become stronger, do you go the gym? If so there are various exercises you can do to increase forearm strength and grip.

thanks ,○but its not the strength , i do fore arm exersizes every week in the gym . it is just the position , ill have a tinker tomorow with everything i can think of

It's almost certainly the geo of your set up.

I had this problem when I changed from 26" to mod.

I tilted the bars forwards till the rise angle was in line with the stem angle which (30 degrees) and it helped abit.

I kept it like this for a while but it was still a bit uncomfortable, so I adjusted the angle of my levers and viola problem solved. Also I found I could pull the rear brake easier so I must have had the levers too far forward in the first place.

Hope that helps.
