Matt_Thibeau
Hey guys, just thinking of getting a new front wheel. I decided on a sl hub. But its down to either the echo sl rim or the try all rim. What are your experiences on both? witch one prefered? The try all is lighter but im not sure. The reason im not getting a trialtech or any other rim is because I want the rim gold. Thanks guys.MattSorry for posting this by mistake in videos... abit tired today aha
eskimo
Try-all rims are fine, if you keep spoke tension good. I've had a few, one being 28h in 26" and it was real good to be fair. That's with allot of harsh landing from messing about too. Currently have a 28h 20" one as well, which has also been good to me. The Tryall is wider, lighter and cheaper. As for strength, probably weaker, but the Echo is double wall after all.
LukasMcNeal
I would say the echo I much prefer its aesthetics and its rather strong.
