How To Remove Cranks

guys help needed quick i am taking some of the parts off my bike to give them a clean but i am struggling with the cranks i have taken out the two bolts on each but dont know whats next

i have taken off 1 pedal but cant get the other 1

also i do not have a crank extracter

can i still remove it

Easiest way is with a tool. They're pretty cheap and worth while because chances are you be using it more than once. Park tools are good products.

can u get them iin halfords or do i need a proper bike shop

What sort of bb you running? Halfords will probably have one for a square taper BB, not too sure about one for an isis BB. Should be able to order one in for you if not though. Got mine from the cycle surgery in Birmingham

Halfords is fine, I brought my puller in there, its not a isis one as it goes straight through the bb rather than hitting the axel, but just pop a five pence in the hole first and it works a treat! Wasn't that expensive either.

Plus I'm sure most lbs sell them.
