Soon to be Rowan Johns
Sounds like a great idea, I might try it, im constanty getting pinched on mis-judged steps and things. How heavy is it though? does it effect your acceleration? does it effect handling?cheers Aymon
Revolver
To stop getting punched, I avoid people who look like they might want to hit me for no reason.I suppose you could call them punchers, I call them dickheads.

duncan_echo26
I read this a while ago in MBUK and gave it a go. It was good but the best way to prevent punctures is to get a good puncture resistant tyre and just a thicker inner tube.
FINDUS
A 2ND tube is a good idea this was what i used years ago, but now i use car seat belts! they are very light weight easy to fit and i have not had a puncture with them not even snake bites as you fit them right into the rim you can get them from any car scrap yard or like me from an abandoned car!
