The Legend Posted November 21, 2009 Report Share Posted November 21, 2009 Iron rust like anything but your bike is probably made of steel or an alloy of some sort but i agree with everyone else leave it out in the rain and salt speeds up the rate of rusting. Salt and water make a very rusty bike You could use a soundblaster after let ur bike rust as it prepares it for spray paints a lot of people use it on cars.
