Shaun H Posted November 23, 2009 Report Share Posted November 23, 2009 Im getting the idea of the sprocket being on the outside of the frame driven by a spline from a new, probably oversize hub to frame interface incorperating larger, more EPs ratchet/hub bearing inside the driveside clamp as they are not limited by sprocket diameter. This may allow for a larger diameter, tubeular axel giving a stiffer set up and a wider distance between hub flanges. The chain removal idea sounds like a happy side effect of some innovative design....but who knows eh?
