N.Wood
Hang around saddles and paddles on the quay and you might bump into someone with an odd looking goatee style beard. If his name is Andrei, you have the right man and ask him all your questions

craigjames
Myself, Andrei and Joe and a few others ride Exeter quite often, you may see us about, feel free to come up and say hi. Do you ride moutain bikes at the moment? When i first started riding trials due to have ridden various types of mountain bikes before hand i found a stock much more natural to ride. N.Wood
Can you drive? if not its not really a problem, trains run to Plymouth from Exeter all the time. Anyways best bet would be to go to plymouth on your mtb when theres a ride on, usually during the warmer months but they do crop up, such as the xmas eve ride. Then you'll get to try lots out... Everyone who rides plym is good enough lad, they'll have no probs with you trying their bike out for a bit.
