mint_jay
Hi! Sorry yet another "I'm new to trials, need advice" post!I think I would prefer 24/26". Don't have a huuge budget... Maybe upto £450. So what's a good bike to start with? Cheers!

mint_jay
Cheers dude, those videos were pretty useful! In terms of a second hand bike, what are a few to look out for? just to narrow it down slightly! I've decided defo not 20", possibly 26" but really like the look of 24". But I understand that 24" bikes are a fairly new thing and are hard to get hold of 2nd hand?Is it worth buying all the parts and building a custom bike? It can be expensive I know but I can get pretty much any part at cost i.e. non retail price.Cheers.

Also check if all other parts are working. Both 24 and 26 are both avaliable buying 2nd hand (or 3rd, 4th and so on) just check out the sale thread.most important u need to kinda decide what u wan to do with the bike. Do u awn to ride natural trials? or maybe urban trials? or just doing some TGS (taps, gaps, side hops), or would u wan to ride some street and so on.Narrow down what u wan to achieve with the bike, then the bike itself =)

Also looking to use the bike for short commutes as well i.e. instead of getting on a bus etc. So thats why I ruled out 20" straight away, and looking towards 24" as most of them tend to have a saddle (dunno if thats a bit strange in terms of trials) but kinda a must for what I want it for.Cheers dude

Do check out the prices of tarty and compare to the sale section, u might find something u like =)
